Famous Tesla S Series Owners

When someone says they drive a Tesla, it is hard not to think of them as environmentally aware, driving a car that reflects their green philosophies.

The Tesla Model S first rolled off the production line almost a decade ago, and it is still popular to this day. Packing between 670 and 1020 HP depending on the model, it is a sleek and stylish way to make a statement without compromising on the quality of your vehicle.

Of course, there are huge benefits to owning the groundbreaking car; experts claim it is one of the most desirable electric cars you can buy. With no emissions and access to Tesla’s Supercharger network for free, it has a full house of benefits which means many people have gone electric and never looked back. However, it isn’t for everyone with a price starting around £50,000. It is in reach of many celebrities though, and plenty have found their way behind the wheel of the enigmatic car.

Which celebrities have gone all-in on the environment and stuck with a Tesla Model S? Here are a handful from across various industries.

Cameron Diaz

Diaz is perhaps best known for her role in nineties comedy, There’s Something About Mary, which also helped launch the career of Ben Stiller. Stiller is serious about his cars and has gas-guzzlers such as the Audi Q7. On the other hand, Diaz has been spotted on several occasions driving her black Tesla Model S around the streets of Los Angeles. Given the minimal impact her car has on the environment, there clearly is something about Mary, even as we enter 2022.

Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu is a champion poker player with winnings that open the doors of any car showroom in the world. His net worth is estimated by Poker.org to be in the region of $60m, which means he could drive a different Lambo every day of the week. He doesn’t; he drives a Tesla Model S. Negreanu is a keen environmentalist, and his car reflects his personality; he’s also a vegan and regularly speaks about his beliefs and philosophies. His Model S is a striking scarlet red, so he’s unmissable on the streets of his hometown, Las Vegas.

Morgan Freeman

Freeman is a huge fan of Elon Musk and Tesla, and he’s been seen travelling the world wearing Tesla-branded gear, such as caps. It stands to reason he’d be seen behind the wheel of the car as well, and he owns a Signature Series Tesla Model S, ensuring he stays on brand. He once even starred in an episode of Man Vs Universe with Musk, completing a full house of Tesla-motivated love from our favourite Shawshank inmate.

Tony Hawk

Like poker, skateboarding is one of those ‘almost sports’, supremely popular but not quite mainstream enough for those that take part to be considered athletes. One of the most famous skaters of all time is Tony Hawk, and the adrenaline junkie is still an icon for a generation of skaters. He’s even been known to use the car’s onboard camera to film himself on his board! It must be noted his Tesla isn’t his only love; he’s also been known to drive a Grand Cherokee Jeep SRT8, a 1964 Chevy Corvette Sting Ray, and a 2008 Yukon XL Denali.
